damn hippies had their heads too far up their asses to hear how good this song was...except for that lead guitarist, his style was weird, and he kind of sucked, but it was fitting at the very least. I still don't know why it was booed...I guess because Dylan "sold out" and went electric, but opposing the status quo for the sake of controversy is equally as stupid as embracing the status quo for the sake of conformity. Bob Dylan was just doing his own thing! too bad no one listened to the lyrics

@m8cct Those werent hippies. Those were Folk fans. This was at the Newport Folk Festival before electric was popular in the folk scene. That is why they booed. Hippies loved this. Folkies didn't.

@m8cct I love this version, too, but we should not condemn anybody for disliking the music. Let 'em boo whenever they want to. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink! Dylan got over it, didn't he? And you're so right about the lyrics ;) DYLAN RULES!
